Connect Your Health
Connect Your Health is being developed to help patients authorize access to their health plan data and review deductible accumulation using claims and Explanation of Benefit information returned by payer Patient Access APIs.
Purpose
What the application does
After a patient signs in with their health plan and grants consent, Connect Your Health will request read-only access to claims, coverage, and Explanation of Benefit records. The application will use that data to display claim information and estimate deductible amounts reflected in payer adjudication data.

- Patient identity information returned by the payer
- Coverage and benefit information
- Claims and encounter information
- Explanation of Benefit records and claim adjudication amounts
Consent
Patient authorization is required
Connect Your Health will not access patient data unless the patient or an authorized representative completes the payer authorization process. Access will be limited to the read-only scopes approved for the application.
Patient controls
- Review the app purpose before connecting
- Authorize access through the payer sign-in experience
- Stop using the application at any time
- Request deletion of data held by Connect Your Health
- Revoke payer authorization where the payer makes that option available
